discover all Barcelona's nooks and crannies
Art, culture and avant-garde
The Ciudad Condal, as it is also known, is a cosmopolitan city that has it all: art, culture, gastronomy, the best shops, a unique architecture, shows...
Do you dare to experience it?
Ancient maritime district, today it is the famous city beach, with almost 500 metres of promenade where you can find all kinds of restaurants and services, play sports and enjoy the beach.
About five million people visit the Sagrada Familia every year. It is Gaudí's most famous work, to which he dedicated the last 14 years of his life and where he is buried. Barcelona's unfinished work par excellence, although no less beautiful for it, is considered as a modernist jewel that deserves a visit, inside and out.
Located right next to the Gothic Quarter, between Via Laietana and La Barceloneta, you will find one of the trendiest neighbourhoods to visit in Barcelona: El Born, a neighbourhood characterised by its narrow, cobbled streets filled with tapas restaurants, charming cafés, boutiques, local shops and bars for the first drink of the night.

Declared a World Heritage Site in 1984, this is one of Gaudí's most important creations, where he aimed to integrate his work with nature, emulating the English garden cities.
The second largest station in Barcelona, after Sants, compared with the Parisian station of Orsay for its elegance, the Estación de Francia has a metal canopy - a spectacular example of iron architecture - in a monumental hall full of natural light and open spaces.
The Ciutadella Park was Barcelona's first public park space, created at the end of the 19th century, spanning approximately 17 hectares and located in the district of Ciutat Vella, 30 minutes walk from the Royal Passeig de Gràcia.
A space used for recreational and cultural activities, the park is full of ancient trees, including more than a hundred plant species, with endless paths to wander as you enjoy sculptures, museums, gardens, the Monumental Waterfall and a boat ride on the lake.
A real oasis and lung of the city, away from traffic and haste.
Cultural centre located in the old Mercat del Born, with a modern design and a large walkway that runs through its middle. Home to exhibition halls, a bookstore/shop and gastronomic space, preserving the archaeological remains of the Vilanova de Mar neighbourhood of 1700, and telling the story of the siege suffered by the city in 1714.
An unforgettable way to ascend Montjuic and enjoy the views of Barcelona, from the Sierra de Collserola to the Mediterranean Sea, via 750 metres of air travel.
The cable car is completely accessible for people with mobility problems and has the following schedule:
January and February: from 10:00 to 18:00 | March to May: from 10:00 to 19:00 | June to September: from 10:00 to 21:00 | October: from 10:00 to 19:00 | November and December: from 10:00 to 18:00.
Casa Milà, popularly known as La Pedrera, is one of the city's landmark buildings. Designed by the architect Antoni Gaudí, it was included in 1984 in the World Heritage Site "Works of Antoni Gaudí", along with the Güell Palace, the Güell Park and the Crypt of the Güell Colony.
An architectural jewel, with marine and mythological references, and large, asymmetrical windows on the facade that provide a lot of natural light, it hosts exhibitions and concerts on its terrace.
This jewel of Catalan modernism, located on the elegant Paseo de Gracia, is a World Heritage Site and one of Gaudí's best works in Barcelona. It has a spectacular façade inspired by the organic forms of nature and an interior that will surprise you with its magic, courtyard of lights and rooftop full of chimineas.
Built between 1905 and 1908 by the modernist architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner for the headquarters of the Orfeó Català, this is the only concert hall to be declared a World Heritage Site. A space with capacity for more than 2000 spectators, with excellent acoustics and incredible light that you will see through its stained-glass windows with coloured mosaics.
